I'm running for re-election to Ladysmith Council to help build
A THRIVING COMMUNITY FOR EVERYONE
It has been a privilege and an honour to serve on Ladysmith's council since 2022. I originally ran for office to help build a thriving community for everyone and I'm proud of the progress we've made towards that goal. This term was guided by our new Official Community Plan and shaped by renewing critical infrastructure, improving our parks and amenities, strengthening our relationship with St'zuminus First Nation, advocating for investment from other levels of government, and supporting the businesses and non-profits that serve our community daily.
Moving forward, I'm committed to carrying on our progress on critical issues like increasing the capacity of our water reservoirs (a plan now fully funded and at design-stage), the implementation of our Waterfront Area Plan, and reaching a decision on the future of our Town Hall. I hope to be a part of a new Council marked by an ambition to build and invest in our infrastructure, to improve and expand our parks and green spaces, to attract new businesses, to see an increase in the availability and diversity of housing options, and to lead with a tone of respect and civility as we continue to work towards a thriving community for everyone.
